The Resort
As the name suggests accommodation is high-end luxury lodge style. Our buildings are all constructed using organic materials milled on the island. All roofing is traditional thatch and all our furnishings compliment the surrounds. Guests enjoy twin share air conditioned rooms, all beds are king size and the rooms come with en-suite bathroom that includes a hot and cold shower and western toilet.
The Main House
Constructed in 2006 the Telo Islands Lodge Main House is a giant, open-plan style building right on the lagoon’s edge at Max’s Right, one of the most stunning vistas in the surfing world.
Sleeping is in two separate air-conditioned rooms that are attached to the giant, open 23-metre x 15-metre post-and-beam construction house. Each of these attached rooms has its own en-suite bathroom with hot and cold shower, tiled floor, western style flush toilets and vanity unit. There are clear views of the surf and jungle from every room of the main lodge building and despite being air-conditioned the rooms are also an open-screen construction giving the feeling of being right in the jungle on the water’s edge.
There are a number of sleeping arrangements that vary from full-size King beds to normal single beds. The sleeping configuration will be dependent on your group but for a normal group of 8 it will be twin share (two guests to a room) and the beds will be king size(all new in 2009) doubles.
All beds have a pyrethrum- treated mosquito net and high-quality(all new in 2009) 100% cotton linen. Each room also has a private deck with undercover surfboard racks.
Bar
Telo Island Lodge has a fully stocked bar open to guests and their friends. All drinks are at local prices should you have a specific wine or spirit outside the normal bar stock simply request it prior to your trip and it will be in stock. You are also able to purchase TIL merchandise such as beer coolers and T-shirts from the bar.
Lounge
Our lounge at Telo Islands Lodge features (all new in 2009) lounges and comfortable chairs, a big-screen television connected to satellite TV accessing over 200 channels, a well-stocked library, huge selection of DVDs, stereo and DV cam playback facility.
Dining
Dining for all meals is at our handmade hardwood dining table with a view of the lagoon and the right in front of the lodge.
Lunch will generally be back at the lodge but if requested can be on the boat or picnic style on a nearby beach (dependent on surf).
There are also snacks and drinks available 24 hours a day. Should you have any special food requirements simply let us know and we can cater for it in advance. All our meals are prepared by our chef and his 2 assistants and can vary from full western style to very traditional Indonesian style cuisine this is purely up to a group consensus each day.
The Lagoon House
Constructed in the off season of 2007 the Lagoon House is located at the far end of the main beach about 50 meters from the Main House. The Lagoon House features an upstairs and downstairs air-conditioned rooms for up to five people but the normal configuration will be two king size beds downstairs and two king size beds upstairs.
Both levels of the lagoon house are fully air-conditioned and fans are provided for those who wish to turn the AC off. The Lagoon House also features an extensive over-water deck on two sides, a TV upstairs and bathroom/toilet on the ground floor. The view from all rooms and the deck is directly to the wave located about 80-100 meters away. As the name suggests the Lagoon House actually extends out into the lagoon for a full over-water feel.
